We manufacture MV switchgear for voltages from 1 to 24 kV in accordance with SIST EN 62271-200/2004, SIST EN 62271-1:2009 and IEC 60694.

Features of MV measuring cells:

  • Suitable for rated voltage up to 24 kV and short-circuit current up to 16 kA
  • Degree of mechanical protection IP 43
  • Standard dimensions of a measuring cell are 1000 x 1400 x 730 mm
  • The cell enclosure is made of robust welded powder coated supporting structure and painted cover plates and robust doors
  • Connection of the inlet and outlet is possible with regular MV cable heads for indoor installation

Cells are equipped with current and voltage transformers as well as fuses for voltage transformers.

MV switchgear is usually available only in type-tested versions for known wiring diagrams. If you need a MV switchgear for an intended use with non-standard wiring diagram and non-standard installed components, we can provide you with tailor-made solutions.

Power switchgear and controlgear assemblies

You can order power switchgear and controlgear assemblies (PSC assemblies) in accordance with SIST EN 61439-1/2 standard that differ in terms of classes based on the applied system of design verification.

 

Low-voltage distribution boards – PSC assemblies up to InA=630A

These include smaller distribution boards for industrial applications, boiler rooms, switch power generation cabinets, direct current assemblies.

  • In type-tested metal enclosures (stand-alone, recessed or surface-mounted design)
  • Standard and non-standard dimensions
  • Also available in stainless steel enclosures (powder coated or not)
  • The protection rating of assemblies IP 40 to IP 54
  • Temperature-rise is verified by thermal calculation

 

Low-voltage distribution boards – PSC assemblies up to InA=1600A

Quality solutions for low-voltage boards for transformer substations in industry as well as assemblies for propulsion in process industry.

Low-voltage compensation devices

In the segment of low-voltage compensation devices for the compensation of power factor cosφ we manufacture:

  • Direct compensation devices (type DCD) for the compensation of power factor cosφ of power transformers at no load. These compensation devices can also be designed as filter compensation devices (type DCDF).
  • Fixed compensation devices (type FC) for direct compensation of power factor cosφ of asynchronous and other motors.
  • Automatic compensation devices (type ACD) and automatic filter compensation devices (type ACDF) for the compensation of power factor cosφ of complete electrical installations centrally at the load point of the system.

We also manufacture filter compensation devices for various damping ratios of p filter circuits, usually in 5,5%, 7%, 12,5% and 14%.

 

PSC assemblies up to InA=7000A

For assemblies with rated current InA of more than 1600A the temperature-rise has to be verified by test/derivation (from verified design) of rated values and similar variants.

As a ‘Siemens Technology Partner we are authorized to manufacture such assemblies in accordance with the design verified type SIEMENS SIVACON S8.

 

PSC assemblies for propulsion in process industry

Dedicated low-voltage assemblies are manufactured on the platform of the type-tested system cubicles SIVACON SICUBE 8MF.

  • Metal cubicles
  • Welded or screwed variations
  • Protection degree from IP 20 to IP 40
  • Possible installation of withdrawable-units with large power FP
  • Option with a DC link

Available dimensions:

  • Widths from 600 mm to 1200 mm (in increments of 100 mm)
  • Height 2200 mm (with added structure for horizontal busbars on top 200 mm)

 

Public electricity network distribution assemblies (PENDA)

Public electricity network distribution assemblies (PENDA) in accordance with the SIST EN 61439-1/5 standard.

  • In type-tested plastic or metal enclosures (suitable for indoor or outdoor installation)
  • At ambient temperatures between -25°C and + 40°C
  • Resistant to weather conditions (such as snow and rain, etc.)
  • Mechanical impact resistance (blows, static load, etc.)
  • Minimum degree of mechanical protection IP 33
  • Additional locking system for use in public spaces

 

Assemblies for construction sites

Assemblies for construction sites (ACS) in accordance with the SIST EN 61439-1/4.

  • In type-tested thermoplastic or metal enclosures
  • Intended for measurement and distribution of electric power at construction sites
  • Particular emphasis on robust enclosure and user safety due to external influences
  • Suitable for use at ambient temperature between -25°C and +40°C with relative humidity up to 100% (at +25°C)
  • Minimum degree of mechanical protection IP 44
  • Special anti-corrosion protection
  • UV resistance
